John Darling is a character in the animated series Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates. He is voiced by Jack Lynch.

He is the brother of Wendy and Michael.

Appearance

Most noted in this series which differs from other adaptions is that John does not wear glasses nor dons a black stovepipe hat In other adaptions John is noted as generally having the darkest hair-color, whilst his sister Wendy is portrayed as being blonde and usually has the lightest hair color of her siblings. However here John being dark to hazel blond is the one with the most lightest hair of of all his siblings while Wendy has black hair which thus makes her have the darkest hair color out of the Darlings.

Personality

Although it is obvious his main place is with his siblings, but not once can he not be seen with his gender and age also as one of the Lost Boys. As such he also shares the bed with them and often fights with the pirates using a magic sword of wood, which always grows again after breaking, as it does with the other six Lost Boys. What makes him stand out is his wearing of more formal clothes and more often takes off his headdress. Out of all the group, he's the one who spends the most time with books and other reading material as it can be clearly seen that he can obviously read and write which would make sense given his previous background. He also tends to be shown of liking to making notes or writing journals, and even for his age is a skilled junior novelist plus has an enjoyment in painting. But not once he leads himself by his knowledge and his mind, rather than by greenness or desire for games and adventures.

Relationships

Like his sister he is overprotective of his younger brother and is shown at times to be protective of him, shielding him from any potential harm. Most likely due to not having an older brother he is often shown to hang out with the older Lost Boys such as Nibs and Slightly plus Curly due to perhaps their closeness to age difference.
